January Review

January was a pretty decent month.

I was able to track our spending by using a daily planner I purchased from the dollar store.  It really made things easier.

I ended the month with 14 no spend days!  I am really happy with that.

Here’s how I did, numbers wise:

I was able to put $1,210 towards our wedding fund.  The extra $200 came from a photography session, GST cheques and money from H’s dad from Christmas.

All in all, I am really happy with the results of January!  I’m really working on bringing our hydro bill down ($67 was for two months), but I guess that’s what happens during the winter.  :)

How was your month?
