Hello Weekend & Food Waste Friday!

I feel like I have been going non-stop all week.

I have gone out with friends or over to a friends house 4 days this week.  Which is a lot more than usual!  I can remember when I was in my early 20’s I would never spend any time at home.  Funny how things change!

Thankfully it’s only been out for coffee and over to their house, nothing to break the budget! :D

We have zero food waste this week.  I haven’t even gone grocery shopping yet.  We have been just eating whatever we can get our hands on with no real plan.  It’s not something I like to do, but it’s helping clear our freezer/pantry.

I will have a meal plan (that will include lunches) and a grocery post this weekend.

Speaking of the weekend, I think we’re finally going to bite the bullet and see Avatar.  It is payday date night and we both want to see what the heck all the hype is about!  Hopefully we don’t hate it ;)

Avatar is amazing!!! I will be shocked if you don’t enjoy it… lol! I don’t know one person who hasn’t liked it! Are you seeing it 3D? It’s amazing…

Awesome job on the zero food waste week! Good stuff!

Enjoy your night! :)

Great job on the no food waste!

Every so often I like to have those weeks with no real plan, it really does force you to get creative and use what’s already there.

I have boycotted Avatar completely. In my humble opinion, Cameron is an arse. His work relies so heavily on CGI, I have a hard time with his film’s integrity as of late. His ex-wife, however, who’s movie The Hurt Locker — that’s was def worthy of the hype and kudos. I do hope you enjoy your weekend regardless of whta I think of the Cameron machine… I truly didn’t mean to harsh the buzz, just saying about the movies.

Collette: You definitely sound very passionate about your dislike for Cameron! ;) And that’s perfectly okay. Every trailer I have watched for Avatar hasn’t really ‘grabbed’ me. To be honest, the movie looks lame. But everyone keeps telling me NOT to go for the story, but for the graphics. So we’ll see.

I only went to see it for basically the same reasons. And I LOVED it! I hope you did too!

I was a skeptical when I went to see Avatar (especially from the previews from earlier in the year) but seriously the graphics blew my mind.

they were absolutely amazing. I felt withdrawal coming back to reality!

hope you liked it!
